Goring & District Twinning Association 30th Anniversary celebrations were held over here during the weekend of 30th May to 1st June 2009. Celebrations will be held in France during the weekend of 21th to 24th May 2010.

The annual Goring & Streatley Regatta was held on 18th July 2009.

Goring won the Oxfordshire Village of the Year for 2009 and also went on to win the coveted South of England Title for 2009.
