	GORING BOWLING CLUB The Gardiner Recreation Ground, Upper Red Cross Road, Goring-on-Thames

We are a friendly mixed Club, open to ladies and men of all ages, both beginners and the more experienced.

The season runs from April to September.

We meet for practice on Monday evenings
from 6-30pm, and run an informal competition afternoon on Tuesdays
from 2pm till 4pm.

Members can also use the Green to practise whenever it is open.

The Club plays in League and friendly matches once or twice a week. These take place on Wednesday evenings and Saturday/Sunday afternoons.

We also run our own Club competitions, some of which run throughout the season, culminating in a Finals Day, while others are one-day events.

In the autumn, we usually go ‘on tour’ for a long weekend to somewhere like Weymouth, Bournemouth or Torquay.

Our Annual Dinner is held in November, when trophies are presented to the winners of the competitions.

We would love to have new members - and you don’t have to live in Goring to qualify!

Why not come along and meet us, and have a go? We are located on the Gardiner Recreation Ground.
